PEAK VIEW!

from Teri H.
mountains

As we come to the close of a Zonta Year, and look forward to Spring, New Officers, and new beginnings, I would like to thank you for the opportunity you afforded me in the last 2 years to be president. Your Board-Renee, Helen, Betty, Kathy and Dianne have been wonderful, hard working and supportive. We have our own Betty E. headed to Australia to represent us at the National Conference; and a great group of Pikes Peak Zontians representing us in Pueblo at our Area Meeting the first weekend in April. There are huge plans in the works for the GLASS SLIPPER BALL-under the lead of chairperson, Laura S. And Welcome to our newest, member Lorie W.!

Hope to see everyone at our April Meeting at the Warehouse Restaurant! We have a great speaker, elections, and a number of important topics to cover!

HAPPY SPRING!!!

-Teri

Better Angels: Diversity Leadership for the 21 st Century
Big changes in our workforce and communities offer big opportunities, yet we face divides of historic proportions. To reap rewards in the world as it is today, we must transform fear and embrace diversity. Great leaders have always been diversity leaders: those who harness the strength in differences with the power of shared ideals. Jody's insights will challenge, entertain and inspire you to build your own diversity leadership skills with "better angels" that include courage, compassion and a commitment to full inclusion.
Bio: Jody Alyn is president of JODY ALYN CONSULTING, a change management firm which provides organizational development, corporate training and inclusion based change management services to corporate, school, government, health care and nonprofit organizations.
Jody's clients include companies like NASA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Memorial Hospital, and the US. Olympic Committee. She also served as Diversity Coordinator for the City of Colorado Springs where she designed and implemented a comprehensive diversity plan and over two dozen customized programs for 2500 government employees that gained public recognition for the City. Another client recently received both state and national awards for work done under her guidance. Jody's positive, committed to excellence approaches and her content rich programs offer practical steps to benchmark business practices, build relationships, tap new markets and increase productivity and potential.
As a member of the National Speakers Association, Jody speaks locally, statewide and nationally. She has published numerous articles on diversity related topics.
Jody has degrees from Colorado College and the University of Colorado. Jody Alyn Consulting is a woman owned, small business that focuses on organizational learning, diversity leadership and cultural change
