Cinnamon Crisps
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup Zonta slivered almonds
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix
well. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Stir in slivered almonds. Mix
well. Form into rolls 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and
place in refrigerator overnight. Slice 1/4-inch thick. Bake on greased
cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
