Zonta International Mission Statement: Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.

District 12 Mission Statement: Zonta District 12’s purpose is to build, develop, and maintain strong clubs through support, leadership and communications in order to further the mission of Zonta International.

Zonta Club of the Pikes Peak Area Mission Statement: To advance the status of women and serve our community through local and international contributions, and to achieve personal and professional growth in a nurturing and supportive environment.

declared August 21, 1999,
“Zonta Club of the Pikes Peak Area Day”

Zonta club members (l to r) Betty Edwards, Karen Pauley, Sharon Roggy, Kate Brewster, Kim Kiick and Susie Nulty joined Colorado Springs Mayor MaryLou Makepeace as she signed a proclamation declaring August 21, 1999 “Zonta Club of the Pikes Peak Area Day.” This recognition honors the club on it’s 50th anniversary.
